Affinity Group is looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Client Manager to join the Southeast team. Reporting to the Vice President of Client Management, this role is responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies for assigned clients within the region. This position serves as the primary contact for the regional sales manager at corresponding clients, ensuring that their plans and objectives are met. The work involves facilitating the activities of local market leaders to help them achieve market-specific sales objectives through effective trimester planning and follow-through. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play an integral part in our company's growth, contributing to the success of both our clients and Affinity Group. 

Location: Candidates can be based anywhere in the Southeast: Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, or North Carolina

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the main point of contact across each assigned client’s region, building excellent rapport and mutually valued business relationships with key personnel.
  • Collaborates with region market leaders to execute client-specific sales plans, including segment focus, innovation plans, and other initiatives to achieve sales goals.
  • Communicates sales strategies and objectives to respective sales teams.
  • Works with the sales enablement team to ensure accurate delivery of CRM, sales data, trimester plans, and local market goals across the region.
  • Maintains connectivity between client’s regional managers, internal market leads, and segment/culinary leads through regular check-ins.
  • Analyzes and reviews monthly client sales reports with region management, determining necessary corrective actions.
  • Participates in or provides input for various distributor and food-related trade shows as well as internal sales meetings.
  • Monitors sales data, trends, and results, communicating accordingly across the region.
  • Adapts and changes sales plans based on evolving business environments and industry headwinds.
  • Assists local market leaders by offering data, insights, trends, and industry updates to the sales team.
  • Develops sound sales and marketing strategies for assigned clients at the regional/local level.
  • Trains and provides product knowledge to regional sales teams.
  • Offers competitive insights to assigned clients for pricing and product considerations.
  • Provides local market intelligence, including competitive pricing, availability, customer contracts, promotions, service challenges, and new product launches.
Who You Are:
  • Experienced: You have a background working with Foodservice Distributors and executing sales plans.
  • Educated: A college or university degree is preferred.
  • Communicative: You possess strong communication skills and can build trust and credibility.
  • Proactive: You have a positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
  • Organized: You have business planning and organizational skills.
  • Team-Oriented: You work well with teams and have strong motivational skills.
  • Analytical: You possess relevant analytical skills and are effective with Power BI, Excel, CRM, and other such tools.
What to expect:
  • The typical work week: Monday through Friday
  • During the food trade show season, the position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, with the ability to safely lift case goods (up to 50 lbs.).  
  • Travel: Position requires daily motor vehicle travel to assigned locations. Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.
