National Director of K-12 Sales
Affinity Group is seeking a National Director of K-12 Sales to lead and drive K-12 segment sales initiatives across the organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape strategies, coach teams, and create measurable growth for Affinity Group’s K-12 segment.
As a “hands-on” leader, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless execution of sales initiatives while building and maintaining strong client and operator relationships.
Location: Candidates can be based anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with regional K-12 Directors to develop, implement, and execute client goals and initiatives through trimester planning.
- Client & Partner Communication: Serve as the primary liaison with national and super-regional clients’ K-12 departments.
- Bid & Commodity Strategy: Ensure a seamless bid process and cohesive commodity strategies across the organization.
- Marketing & Promotions: Oversee innovative marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive engagement and growth.
- Trade Show Strategy: Develop and execute trade show strategies, ensuring strong brand representation and successful execution.
- Operator Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key operator decision-makers.
- Event Participation: Represent Affinity Group at national conferences, larger state shows (e.g., NY, FL, TX, CA), and internal/external client events.
- Talent Development: Support the recruitment and professional growth of K-12 sales teams to build a high-performing team.

Requirements:
- Experience:
- 7–10 years in strategic leadership roles, preferably in foodservice or with a national food manufacturer.
- At least 5 years of K-12 foodservice sales experience.
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership role, overseeing large teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification: SNS certification is preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with K-12 foodservice and/or cafeteria operations management is a plus.
- Relationship Builder: Established connections with key accounts are preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Zoom;
- Strategic problem-solver with experience in change management, influencing, and coaching.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
- Travel: Up to 50% air travel and overnight stays.
